The Working Better Together conference was organized by the Intellectual Property Issues in Cultural Heritage (IPinCH) project, based at Simon Fraser University. It was co-sponsored by the POLIS Project on Ecological Governance and the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria, and the International Society of Ethnobiology Alliance for Biocultural Diversity. The event was documented using the technique of graphic recording through the services of illustrator and graphic facilitator Sam Bradd.

This event was made possible by financial support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) through an MCRI research grant to IPinCH Project Director Dr George Nicholas, a SSHRC Impact (Partnership) Award to the IPinCH project, financial contributions from the POLIS Project, CFGS and the ISE Alliance, and generous support from Simon Fraser University.

Many staff and volunteers contributed to the success of the event – thank you to everyone!
