Margaret Kovach (Ph.D.) is of Plains Cree and Saulteaux ancestry. She is an Associate Professor with the College of Education, University of Saskatchewan. She is currently the Acting Director of the Aboriginal Education Research Centre at the University of Saskatchewan. She is an active teacher, researcher and scholar with a focus in the area of Indigenous methodologies and Indigenous knowledges within post-secondary learning contexts. She is the author of a number of publications exploring Indigenous presence in research and scholarship and is the author of Indigenous Methodologies: Characteristics, Conversations and Contexts published through the University of Toronto Press.
