Craig Paskin

Craig Paskin is with the Ktunaxa Nation Council’s Land and Resources Agency as their Manager of Policy and Planning. He has worked and volunteered with First Nations organizations and partnerships since moving to British Columbia in 1997, including the Clayoquot Sound Central Region Board; the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust; Clayoquot Alliance for Research, Education and Training; the Tofino Research and Education Committee.

Most of Craig’s work focuses on developing and implementing collaborative management and stewardship initiatives between First Nations and the BC government, as well as policy development. His current work for the Ktunaxa Nation includes developing policy on research ethics, research honoraria, citizen engagement, lands stewardship, and cultural and conservation values planning.
