Most meals are covered with conference registration. All of the meals provided at the conference will be at our conference venue, the Listel Hotel. Here is a summary of what meals we cover and what meals you will have on your own.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 18, 2015 (optional day)

  • Participants will be responsible for their own meals

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2015 

  • Lunch (provided)
  • Dinner (on your own)

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2015 

  • Lunch (provided)
  • Dinner (provided at the banquet)

Here are some eating options when meals are not provided at the conference:

Mid-Range:

  • Forage (at the Listel Hotel): Our conference venue hotel boasts a great café with breakfast, brunch, and dinner contemporary cuisine selections; and the chef Chris Whittaker strives use local ingredients and sustainable seafood.

Budget:

  • Sushi Mart (1668 Robson street): Only a few blocks from our conference venue, Sushi Mart offers reasonably price sushi with ocean friendly and vegetarian options.
  • Whole Foods Market (1675 Robson St)/l Only a few blocks from our conference venue, Whole Foods Market is a place you can purchase groceries as well as prepared foods (organic, vegan, gluten-free, & vegetarian options).
  • Marketplace IGA (909 Burrard St): The Market place IGA is a small grocery store that is around a 10 minute walk from our conference venue.

There are also a number of great restaurants in all price ranges along Davie Street (it is just a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride)!
